SALT – yet another reason to stay away from processed foods.

2300mg of Sodium. That’s how much salt is recommended in our diets. However, if you eat out and/or eat processed foods, you are probably eating as much as FIVE TIMES the maximum daily recommended allowance. How can you avoid it? START COOKING AT HOME where you can actually control the amount of sodium in your diet and avoid processed/canned/jarred foods. OR you can follow this rule: IF IT DOESN’T HAVE A MOTHER OR COME FROM THE GROUND, DON’T EAT IT!
